Gay, Elderly & Alone in NY.

As the Holiday Season winds down to a close, we would like to take some time to remind our audience of many of the gay, elderly individuals whom are alone this season. The reason being that presently aging individuals, are of a generation still filled with bigorty and ignorance. Consequently, many gay, elderly individuals are forced back into the closet for fear of mistreatment and prejudice, at the hands of both professional care practitioners and the elderly themselves.
As some communities begin to sprout to care for gay, aged individuals like RainbowVision in the USA, or this property that opened in Berlin, many still choose to live at home for comfort, or out of fear - much to the detriment of their personal health and overall well-being.
