Covering Your Eyebrows - There’s More Than One Way!
Everyone does their makeup differently, whether from trial and error, or learning from your drag mama or makeup artist, there’s more than one way to do anything.
Here is a more explicit tutorial on how to cover one’s eyebrows, particularly if you have dark hair and fair skin — a difficult thing to do right.
You will need: Spirit Gum (preferably the water-soluble version!), white concealer stick and/or makeup, Kryolan plastic for eyebrows if you’re going to be in drag a long time and/or sweating like crazy, and a foundation stick close to your skin tone (no, it doesn’t have to be the same one as your whole face - but close! -but if you do use the same one, get a different stick or makeup lid for just your brows). Last, but not least, translucent powder.
This tutorial does not show you how to paint your brows, because again, it depends on the look you’re going after…though, we strongly suggest that instead of using a pencil (only because unless you are REALLY good at it, you will have to re-cover your brows), you utilize an angled brush, and powder the color of the brow you wish to create.
